MSN
Over my 7+ years at MSN, I managed Lifestyle verticals including Family & Parenting, Health & Fitness, and Dating & Personals, winning multiple IGA awards for site redesigns, and pioneering original content on the network, setting the standard for high engagement. I also won the esteemed Superior Sales Partner award for my work creating curated advertorial packages.
While managing the Dating & Personals vertical, I pressed our partner Match.com to get into the content game, vs strictly being a service play. We A/B tested content like this on the home page and – no surprise – it performed up to 80% better than ad modules by converting readers into subscribers.
I managed social media for the Lifestyle vertical and ran a large V-team of social staff across the org. Some of my original blogs set the standard for social engagement at the time.
I took on the responsibility of managing the MSN Year in Review – though it's no longer live on the site, it was quite the feat, requiring a ton of cross-org collaboration, editorial calendaring, and CMS work.
My role involved a lot of headline writing and pitching stories to the home page. My content partners, including Hearst, Buzzfeed, CNET, and more were always happy with their numbers.
